Reid™ CURE8 are curing agents designed for use on new concrete and facilitate maximum moisture retention throughout the curing period to improve overall concrete strength and durability.
CURE8A20LT – Curecon A Acrylic Curing (20l)
Curecon A is an acrylic, water-based curing compound classified as Class D, Type 1. It is formulated for application on new concrete and works by maximising moisture retention during the curing process, helping to achieve optimal strength and long-term durability. Curecon A is certified to meet Australian Standard AS 3799.
The advantages of Curecon A include reduced risk of surface cracking or dusting, compatibility with most following trades, and ease of use, eliminating the need for water curing or plastic sheeting. It also complies with Green Star Office Design V3 IEQ-13, requires no special ventilation or stringent safety measures, and has a low odour.
CURE8AA20LT – Curecon AA Aliphatic Alcohol (20l)
Curecon AA is a water-based aliphatic alcohol finishing compound used on plastic (freshly poured and screeded) concrete to minimise water evaporation during finishing. This assists in improving finishing quality, especially in challenging weather conditions. Curecon AA does not typically interfere with subsequent surface treatments such as toppings, tiling, render, or coatings.
Note: Curecon AA is not a curing compound.
The advantages of Curecon AA include its water-based formulation, its ability to reduce surface water evaporation, improved finishing performance in adverse conditions, reduced risk of shrinkage cracking due to premature drying, and full compatibility with subsequent trades.
