Consistent with the Reid™ commitment to local testing, SwiftLift™ Foot Anchors have been extensively tested in Australian concrete comprising of over 500 individual tests and consuming approximately 150 tonnes of concrete.
Annual proof load testing of all
clutches shall be conducted in accordance with AS3850.1:2015 Appendices A8.
Where
a lifting system is proof load tested by a third party, ITW Concrete Systems recommends those selected are accredited to perform the testing in
accordance with AS3850.1:2015 by NATA or IANZ.
All of Reid’s Lifting range complies with AS3850, tested in local conditions.

“In Concrete” Testing programs are completed on an ongoing program basis and verified by our 3rd Party testing partners delivering significantly higher capacity outcomes. Genuine ReidBar™ Reinforcing Bar and ReidBarTM Connection Systems are designed, manufactured, and tested to provide performance and serviceability in application meeting all relevant standards and codes below.
Our thorough testing ensures product validation to confirm compliance of critical specification requirements (dimensions, material properties and load bearing capacity where appropriate). This includes clauses 2.2, 2.5.1, 2.5.4, Appendix A & B.

Reid Shims have been independently tested and rated with a 20t Working Load Limit determined in accordance with AS 3850:2024, meeting all clauses and requirements of AS3850.1:2015.
As per clause 2.8.1, all shims are marked with the WLL and Reid brand for traceability.”
