Ferrule Antennae Cap

The Reid™ Plastic Antennae Cap is a simple yet essential accessory designed to protect and accurately position cast-in threaded inserts such as TIMs and Stainless Steel TIM/TCM inserts during precast concrete production.

Fitted over the insert prior to casting, the cap prevents concrete ingress into the metric thread, eliminates the need for post-pour cleaning or re-tapping, and ensures a clean, ready-to-use fixing point once the element is demoulded.

Featuring flexible antennae legs, the cap provides a visual “target point” on the form face and assists with maintaining correct alignment of inserts within the reinforcing cage. Antennae Caps are available in multiple sizes (e.g., ANTCAPM12, ANTCAPM16) to match the corresponding insert thread.
