The Reid™ Locator Cap is a precision placement accessory used to maintain the correct location, orientation, and projection of cast-in threaded inserts such as Threaded Metric Inserts (TIMs), Stainless Steel TIMs (TCMs), and Elephant Foot™ Inserts. Installed over the insert before casting, the Locator Cap locks the insert into position and ensures it is held at the proper depth and angle relative to the formwork. This minimises the risk of movement during pouring and vibration, resulting in a consistently accurate fixing point once the concrete element is demoulded.
