Reid™ lifting systems are designed, tested and supported to meet the demands of modern precast and tilt up construction.
Our SwiftLift™ Foot Anchors have been extensively tested in Australian concrete, with more than 500 individual tests completed using approximately 150 tonnes of concrete. This local testing supports product performance in real world construction conditions and reinforces our commitment to safe, reliable and compliant lifting solutions.
All Reid™ lifting products are supported by product compliance documentation aligned with the relevant requirements of AS 3850.1:2024 and AS 3850.2:2024 for prefabricated concrete elements. Annual proof load testing of lifting clutches should be carried out in accordance with the applicable requirements of AS 3850.1:2024.
Where proof load testing is completed by a third party, ITW Concrete Systems recommends using providers accredited to perform the required testing, such as NATA or IANZ accredited laboratories.

Our in concrete testing programmes are completed on an ongoing basis and verified through third party testing partners. This helps ensure Genuine ReidBar™ Reinforcing Bar and ReidBar™ Connection Systems deliver reliable performance and serviceability in application.

Connections
Reid™ ferrules are designed, manufactured and tested to support reliable cast in connection performance for precast and tilt up concrete applications.
The Reid™ Elephant Foot Ferrule is a premium grade, medium to heavy duty cast in ferrule, compliant with AS 3850:2024. Ferrules are pre threaded with an internal thread suitable for standard metric coarse threaded fasteners in accordance with AS 1721:1985.
Our testing process supports product validation across critical specification requirements, including dimensions, material properties and load bearing capacity where applicable. This includes relevant requirements within AS 3850:2024.

Plastics
Shims
Reid™ Shims have been independently tested and rated with a 20t Working Load Limit determined in accordance with AS 3850:2024.
Each shim is marked with the Working Load Limit and Reid™ brand for traceability, supporting compliance with the relevant identification and performance requirements of AS 3850:2024.

Reinforcing Support Chairs
The ITW Concrete Systems™ range of bar chairs and spacers manufactured in Australia under the Reid™ and Danley™ trademarks satisfies the requirements of AS/NZS 2425:2015 Bar chairs in reinforced concrete, Product requirements and test methods.
AS/NZS 2425:2015 specifies product requirements for bar chairs and spacers, including strength, permanent deflection, manufacturing accuracy, identification, traceability and fixing requirements.
ITW Concrete Systems™ in house testing supports compliance with AS/NZS 2425:2015.
